LES ECURIES / THE STABLES - « Folon ON DISPLAY »
Folon created more than 300 original posters during his artistic career. Some themes are more frequently featured than others : the posters in defence of major causes, posters that announce cultural events, and to a lesser extent, the more commercial posters. The Waterloo exhibition showcases forty of Folon’s posters for cultural events.
The stables of the old castle on the estate, which date from 1901, are situated in what is now known as Descampe Park.
This authentic space in the city centre is home to the art society, which often organizes exhibitions.
